Even if you type in the title or copy and paste all of the text from the website, Google still finds something else. The only way my website comes up is if you type in the exact URL.
How can I get Google to show off my website a little more?

here you go: http://www.google.com/addurl/
scratch that, if its with blogspot they will already automatically index it. and also if it's with blogspot i don't believe you can add your own meta tags so there's really nothing you can do, sorry.

Wow, people are way off. Google reads your entire site with a bot. The more prominent your site is the more likely it will show up in the Google results. Also they go by link backs, AKA how many links on external sites are linking back to your site. The more you have the more likely you will end up in the top of the search results. What you need to do is submit your website to Google, check your keywords on your site itself and the meta description tags to ensure they are properly set up. Then start blasting your site everywhere you can to get Google to start seeing it. This is what I have had the best luck with. It will take a month or so for Google to start registering everything.
Good Luck

I think there is a option you can press in your Settings, so that your URL and name is sent out to the search engines

Under on your meta content, add google. Or register your site to it.

Build relevant links to the website like submit your website to social bookmarking sites i-e digg.com, reddit.com, stumbleupon.com. If you are unable to do it yourself, you can hire a link building company to do it for you. I usually hire http://www.linkbuildingshop.com/ for my link building jobs.
