I am looking for a low cost web hosting site where I can advertise my resume writing business. I tried to join a few but they want me to pay for the whole year in advance. I'm looking for something I can pay on a month to month basis. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I use http://www.webhostingpad.com/5494.html offers free wordpress auto install. They have plans that start as low as $1.99 a month and offer a 30 day money back guarantee!!

We'd probably need more information. If you had a copy of your site and the new host was compatible with the technology used in your original site then there is no obvious reason for errors. If you could be specific about the error that you got then it may give more clues as to what went wrong. Do you have access to the server that hosts your site i.e. can you load the site yourself (ftp)? You also talk about a 'ripped' version. What do you mean? Was it a full copy of all the files? Why could they only 'retrieve' certain things, like text etc? What format were the files that you gave them?

Hi,

Don't go for free web hosting. They are not reliable....

I would recommend "Host Gator" for your Web Hosting because it's cheap and very reliable. Their support service is awesome. This company offers site building tools, application vault, web mail, antivirus, Php, MysQL ,e-commerce and hosts unlimited websites in one plan.Check out personal reviews direct from the users here :

I have tried several hosting companies and right now I am using three suppliers, one VPS (virtual private server), one local supplier and now finally Hostgator. My VPS provider is great, but it requires more work to get up and running, and I guess you don't want that :) . I'd go with Hostgator. I came across a site the other day with some info on the topic. http://hostsites.org . I also found this one: http://hostaweb.org Good luck!

Nexx Online has a deal right now. $10 for an entire year of unlimited web hosting. For $10 you get a web hosting plan and you also get to choose a free .com/net/org domain name.

You can use the link below or visit their website at http://www.nexx.com and use promotion code SPARK10

When you pay month to month instead for a whole year in advance it usually costs a bit more. The best host that lets you pay month to month is HostGator. You can pay monthly, quarterly or yearly. Since it costs a bit more to pay monthly check out some Host Gator coupon to lower your cost http://www.castironhostingreview.com/hostgator-review.html

I own a web design and hosting company. I will design your site and host it for £6.50 a month or £28.00 a year.

(You can cancel at any time but will not get a refund).

I guarantee you will not get a better offer. Plus you will be able to update everything yourself. It is extremely easy.

I am only doing this as I was in the same situation when starting my web design business.

I personally use Chime Host - http://www.chimehost.com/web-hosting/ for my website. They offer monthly pricing and don't require you to pay yearly. I just checked their website today and they are offering 3 month off special if you sign up for quarterly plan. They only charge $4.95 per month for unlimited web hosting. I highly recommend them.
