I made a website for my first company, and I was wondering if it looks ok on everyone's browsers. Also, if anyone has any recommendations for web design, I would be glad to hear them because I am just starting out in this field. My website is reliablemoldsolution.com. Thanks!

The talking guy is good, everything else is amateurish. pictures are aliased; buttons look like they came from a free button maker. colors are horrible. Maybe you should turn on antialiasing in Photoshop or whatever you are using. The clouds , if you keep them, should not repeat vertically at all.

Reliable Mold Solution logo and cloud background should be merged into one image(that doesn't tile in either direction).

CSS should not be inline but should be moved to a different page.

Further, Michelle, you shouldn't trust Frontpage to do correct coding or make buttons or much of anything on it's own.

You also need title, keyword and description tags.

Its very blurry and pixled. One can hardly read the menu buttons and the credit card logos are too blurry and therefore create the appearance of a site that can not be trusted. The video appears to be thrown in down in a corner.

Your website needs better images, better formatting/layout, and you NEED a privacy policy!!

You MUST have a link for terms and conditions as well as any policies.

It is illegal to have a website that collects any personal information from anyone, without having a privacy policy.

There are many places that offer templates. Intuit.com, godaddy.com, bluevoda.com, etc.

I honestly believe that you need to use a good template to get a more professional feel.

If you have the money and the need, you should really consider hiring a web designer. It doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg to get someone to do an adequate job.

I'm not sure if its just my computer, but the blue background only goes to about half of the screen. The video is half on blue, half on white.

Best of Luck

Keep the walk-on video, toss out everything out and start over. Sorry but it has the feel of a free 5 minute site builder. On my firefox browser the outdated looking home button obscures the top of the area code. I could imagine the out of focus style background image working alone with the avatar video, but it somehow interferes with my eyes focusing on the text floating on top..you could use a simple tile-able texture set to repeat to make the background continuous. At least set the bg color to near your fussy image color so you don't have the blank paper look at the bottom.

Here's a free online button builder that might help in getting legible text, there's a temptation to go crazy with wacky styling, your biz site probably calls for understated.

I agree with the first two. I am using homestead for my site builder. Intuit is power by homestead. Maybe with a little help and direction, you should be all right. Once you improve your website, please help with mine. I will put you on the payroll if your good enough. You can see my website at SeeItOn.com.
