A web page without keyword meta tag is recommendable?

According to http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.in/2009/09/google-does-not-use-keywords-meta-tag.html Matt cutt explanation, keywords is not a ranking factor. So no use with keywords, so a webpage without keywords meta tags? is it recommendable?

Although Matt Cutts had said that they would not use keyword meta tag, some other search engines like yahoo, bing, yandex, ask are using those tags as mandatory.



If you see bing webmaster tools, you can notice the warning if your site had not mention keywords meta tag..



I surely recommend the keyword meta tag.... (Google will not penalized if you use keyword meta tag. They just discard the meta tag)

Yes. These are what the search engines read to understand what your web page is about. This week I showed a company that the reason the search engines could not find their website was because there were zero meta tags - it was all Flash. Flash is fine if it is supported with the proper code. No code = no indexing. How do I know? We have held page 1, top 5 results in Google and Yahoo for the same key word terms for over two years. This is despite the constant changes in algorithyms.

Yes Google do not use it as a ranking factors because in the past, other SEO'er spamming that meta tags. But it is not time consuming if you still add it. I think somehow Google still see's that tag.
