Does wordpress.org cost money?

Besides the hosting cost.. is there an extra fee from wordpress.org?

Wordpress as well as a galaxy of themes and plugins are available for free.



A more professional wordpress based site might buy a higher quality custom theme and advanced plugins.



Some start with the slightly limited free hosted version at wordpress.com, which does have some paid hosting upgrades as well, this is a separate entity from wordpress.org.

mm more than likely yes. We pay money to adopt animals so they are sure we will treat them right. If people were given animals for free, they might use them for animal testing or something else.
