Starting out blogging........... ?

Question

I was wondering when one is starting out a blog how should they present there first post:?

Should it start off by introducing them or what there blog is about or just jump right into there blog with no introductory of them?

Just jump in and start posting. Just think, once you have 20 posts on there, people are not going to start at the beginning and read through your blog like a book. You should do an "about" page, explaining who you are and what the purpose of the blog is.

Firstly write introductory post where you tell user what the whole blog is all about. Then start another posting. This helps user to have clear understanding about your blog.

I think it depends on the type of blog, your writing style, etc. As an example you can look at my blog I just started. I have 2 entries so far: http://dinosaurrar.blogspot.com/
