I'm assuming that your product is ready to sell at the moment.

Try some social network sites.

Personally if you want other people to put up capital to sell your product I'd look at affiliates - internet resellers. Invest some time in learning about how to run an affiliate operation through someone like clickbank or Commission Junction.

One good way to start market research, if you have a sellable product is Google AdWords as you can quite quickly work out what ads work and what ones don't.

Building a network is not just going to web page on the Internet!!! Perish the thought that you would think a valuable source of business and profit can be just picked up like any list in the phone book! You have to work it out, man, you gotta be a people person.

What do you do to get started?

- Talk to everyone you know about opportunities

- Find those friendly network spiders, those types of people who just seem to know everyone.

- Use the telephone.

- Go out of your way to be where people are.

- Get into the habit of being talkative.

- Get the contact details of people you meet. Not just exchanging business cards but stapling information like birthdays, anniversaries, hobby clubs, and key information onto their cards.

- Choose the right method for the right person.

- Warm up long-cold contacts.

- Use your network partners to find suitable companies.

- Gather key information on these companies.

- Figure out who is the one with the power to hire you.

- Find people connections and common areas of interest.

- Engineer an introduction.

- Build word-of-mouth exchanges about yourself.

- Have a line ready to get you past the secretary.

- Act as though you expect to be put through.

- Be ready to leave a short, persuasive message for the

decision-maker.
