Website meta description is the combination of keywords and phrases which helps to promote the sites on search engines. It is used in submitting the directories, social bookmarking etc.Meta Description should be effective.

If you are doing this just for backlinks then you can use your meta description and same description in every directory

but it decreases the page rank of the page which is linking to your website

so ultimately link quality is low

If you want high quality backlinks then you need to provide unique description in every directory

The best guideline is to keep things real and natural.

Vary your submissions a little here and there whenever you can. And don't submit to hundreds at once.

Spread it out over a certain period.

If you do it to hastily and especially if all your submissions are identical, it raises red flags with the search engines and might end up doing more harm than good.

Hope this helps!

It's better to use different description rather using meta for that page.

Before generating links try to write different type of description and try changing them bi-monthly.

That's what i always suggest and do for links.

Meta descriptions are HTML attributes that provide concise summaries of webpages. They commonly appear underneath the blue clickable links in a search engine results page (SERP).
